WELCOME TO WASPS PTA

Whiteparish All Saints Primary School Parent-Teacher Association

Home: Welcome

The WASPS Parent Teacher Association is a vital part of the Whiteparish All Saints schooling system. We organise and collate funding to support key activities in the school and enrich our children's educational experiences.

We want to give Owls, Eagles, Falcons and Kites at Whiteparish All Saints Primary School the ability to grow their wings and fly off to wherever their hearts take them.

SCHOOL REQUIREMENTS

Between the teachers, PTA and input from parents, we identify the areas in the school that need a little TLC. We have a number of projects running at the same time and we'll prioritise spend allocation depending on need and urgency. Here are the projects we are working on at the moment:

LIBRARY REVAMP

We're giving the library an overhaul in terms of new books, as well as matching the spend parents contribute to purchasing new books for World Book Day.

NEW SHED

Keeping outdoor & sports gear clean and safe. Funding has been allocated, we need to find the right item and order it.

IT EQUIPMENT

We've used PTA funds to buy 15 tablets this year and are now putting more money aside for further upgrades.

PEPPERBOX HILL

School trip with the National Trust to learn about ecology and geography.
Yet to be funded.

TESCO GRANT APPLICATION

Fingers crossed, Tesco picks us for this initiative. If we are lucky, the money will go to an edible garden & outdoor area.

No event is possible without the support of you, the parents. Time is precious, and we know that many of you, parents and carers of children at Whiteparish All Saints Primary School, work and also care for others already. We appreciate that fitting in another activity on top of a busy life is a big ask.

VOLUNTEERING

They say it takes a village to raise a child. Perhaps that was easier in the days when we didn't have a million other commitments!
The PTA is always keen to do more for the children at Whiteparish, but we're limited by the resources we have. Your involvement - no matter how large or small - can make a huge difference.
